I happened to have seen videos about LoRa on YouTube. If I remember correctly, it can have encryption and group. And it is just a protocol and transmitter/receiver module, not a finished product like an iPhone. That is, you don't have to buy the thing in the picture above; you can just buy the transmitter/receiver module, download the LoRa library and use Arduino or ESP etc to create your own device.
Is it encrypted? Does it support groups?
