The percentage of deaths due to pneumonia, influenza and COVID-19 (PIC) has been increasing since October. Both COVID-19-associated hospitalizations and PIC mortality for the most recent weeks are expected to increase as more data are received.
You know, instead of playing semantics with this thing, why not just pull up the CDC Flu only statistics and note how there are literally 500 total flu cases in the entire US this flu season. They actually don't even list the deaths. I did check my state (AR) and there has been ONE reported flu death this season.
