If a company valued any kind of data integrity why would you do this ? I'm an old school guy. If you cannot do this or anything you are thinking of on prem then your budget isnt in the right place and secondly the public cloud isn't going to solve your performance problems for lack of budget or be a band aid for security or data integrity because your handing it over to someone else.
