It's always been frustrating hearing people screaming about how the second amendment isn't for [insert whatever the fuck here], but rather for hunting or self defense. Behind closed doors we're a bit more honest but for some reason people in the gun community are terrified of being seen as anything more than a bunch of harmless pushovers who want nothing more than to be law abiding. (Just got a call from my buddy as I was typing this, looks like his dad had a stroke. Fuckin oof.) But yeah, no doubt the second amendment is so you can shoot your local fuckhead politician in the face when he decides to be a self serving tyrannical piece of shit. Bitter pill to swallow but fuck, do people really think that voting is the absolute most you can do to fix a corrupt political system?
