I thought the MI ones were not allowed in the capital building?

22
Wrexxis780 22 points ago +22 / -0

They could have voted outside like NV did.

EIEIO 3 points ago +3 / -0

Turns out MI law says they have to meet inside.

Since when do laws matter in this election?

As a NM resident, every source I've found says all five electors went to Beijing Biden and the Hoe. Though, I do NOT trust the media, this is a hyper blue faggot state and I would highly doubt they would go against the grain.

No. See 1960 Hawaii delegates

Which were certified by the legislature.

They have to be certified.

SETTLE DOWN.

While we have some much-needed momentum emerging today we are still a long ways off from stopping the steal.

As of right now Joe Biden has received enough Electoral College votes to now be officially President-Elect.

Don't lose hope but don't keep falling for the "IT'S HAPPENING!" crap that turns this place into clown world.

I'll be more than happy to tell you when it's really happening.

They sent electors for both candidates, is my understanding. So you can technically say Biden got more than 270 today, but that ignores the fact that both sets of votes can’t be counted in January.

5
InternetPersona 5 points ago +5 / -0

But doesn't that also mean Trump got more than 270...?

2
Brillica 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yup, which is why that guy’s getting downvoted for being a doomer about Biden getting over 270.

2
populist_nationalist 2 points ago +2 / -0

You guys are spreading misinformation. Trump's electors are alternate electors. In a nutshell, they will not count unless fraud is proven.

To be fair less than 1% of 1% of Americans actually understand the constitution

It means when they rework the Texas case (as alito and Thomas described in their dissent) the court will have a ready made remedy at hand. Among other ways this is a huge win. The fact that this hasn't happened in any presidential election in my lifetime (36 years), its pretty fuckin huge.

It means the door is not closed.

And aren't the state delegations in the House required to vote for their parties' candidate? Therefore, if it goes to a House vote, Trump would be guaranteed a win because Republicans, even the cucked ones, would be required to vote R?

Still, I've been offline all day. Not clear what all these votes mean.
