They sent electors for both candidates, is my understanding. So you can technically say Biden got more than 270 today, but that ignores the fact that both sets of votes can’t be counted in January.

You guys are spreading misinformation. Trump's electors are alternate electors. In a nutshell, they will not count unless fraud is proven.

It means when they rework the Texas case (as alito and Thomas described in their dissent) the court will have a ready made remedy at hand. Among other ways this is a huge win. The fact that this hasn't happened in any presidential election in my lifetime (36 years), its pretty fuckin huge.
