There are a bunch of normies like me who are posting with supreme confidence as if they know what actually happens legally now. Some states legislatures seem to have sided with (or might side with) the Trump electors, even though their state went blue. In other states, it seems like the legislature sided with the Biden electors, but the Trump electors cast their votes anyway. It doesn't seem cut and dry, and it hasn't been all election cycle.
Can someone who actually provide full context chime in and clear this up?

What happens now?

Are all of the electors valid for both sides, or does it depend on the process in the various states?

Do you have court or historical precedent for your claims? Links appreciated.
tl;dr - I'm not dooming, I am wanting clarity because every other comment conflicts back and forth.
The 12th amendment says that the electors are counted by the president of the senate (Pence). Since there are electors from both parties in some states, I THINK, he can throw those electors out, to which no one receives 270. Then the house will immediately vote, but each state would only get 1 vote, chosen by the state legislature. 26 states have republican led state legislatures and 22 are led by dems. Meaning that, unless the GOP legislatures of these states completely shit the bed, Trump will win. Please fact check me and let me know if I'm wrong.
I think that 26+22=48.
Whereas, 31+19=50.
The rest is, procedurally, correct.
I've heard 26 and 22, I'm aware they dont equal 50. I had assumed (my fuck up admittedly) that the remaining 2 were independent. Either way, at the end of the day GOP has the majority of states
Edit: I can't spell for shut
It all depends on congress. It ultimately comes down to pence. He could say, to many states are contested, in which case we go to the 12th amendment. This was trumps plan all along.

Non lawyer here. In a nutshell, I believe if there are enough contested states and neither get to 270, it is turned over to the legislatures. Pence as President of Senate does final count, I believe. More Qualified Pedes (MQPs) PLEASE jump in on this. Struggling as well with the volume of all this.
I don't think it is settled. They had an impasse like this in 1876 when a few Democrat states sent two sets of electors.
I don't think everybody agrees what they did was the right way to handle it.
But I think we aren't going to win by simply sending some extra electors. Something else is going to happen.
Something that turns the public against Biden and the election riggers.
I would honestly love this to be clarified as well. I thought I knew what it meant, but I am seeing a lot of conflicting reports on what all of this means and what the next steps are.
I too am not dooming AT all! I think the only horrible news would have been if no one did anything today. Seeing these electors fighting for Trump is a beautiful thing no matter what.
So I know this is good, but I would like to know HOW good. What are the next steps? What needs to happen next?
I thought that Pence could pick whichever slate of electors he wanted to or discount both of them, but some ppl are saying that isn't true and there would be a vote in the House and the Senate.....
Other people are saying the court cases could invalidate the Biden votes, which is why it's a good thing there are Trump votes there, but we have to get the Biden votes invalidated.
It's very confusing.
Here is a far better explanation (sorry for youtube). Starts around 29:00.
