The only move Barr will make is to head to the nearest Crispy Creme

Might have been part of an act, Barr's public behaviour. Trump criticising him on twitter and the interview at the game saying about how Barr had kept hunter biden investigation quiet may also have been part of the act. Keeping it quiet must have been part of a plan to take them down at the right time. Maybe lin Wood just saw the letter he wrote and it changed his mind.

'CNN reported sources said the AG "'cannot be intimidated by Trump" and has dismissed the president's outbursts as a "deposed king ranting" ahahha I wonder what their reaction to that letter is.' Maybe it's to show how wrong CNN are again with their fake sources. To show MSM to be embarrassingly wrong about Barr and also wrong about hunter biden

What good does taking down Biden now do? Just for grins, say Hunter, Jim, and Joe get indicted and arrested tomorrow. OK? Let's pretend. Unless something extraordinary happens, in a month, Joe will assume the presidency, indicted, but not convicted of anything.

I think we need to face it that the DoJ resistance successfully did their job....resisting Trump for 4 straight years. That would explain why Trump not only didn't bother to replace Barr, but isn't appointing an interim, rather, just letting the assistant take over. Who gives a shit at this point? No one is going to get arrested for election fraud, no matter who the attorney general is, just like no one got arrested for the illegal spying on the Trump campaign and presidency. The people who did the illegal spying....it's the DoJ! No matter who is at the helm they aren't going to turn on themselves!

Staple down here in Georgia as the Colonel of chicken is to Kentucky. Barr could be the hatchet man for what is to come. If he is, I will be the first to purchase him a lifetime KFC Smorgasbord card for all he did for the USA.

5
Hairy_Mouse 5 points ago +12 / -7 (edited)

Hahaha...

SOOO funny. I've never heard anybody talk about chickens/donuts and Barr in the same sentence.

These fatfuck Barr jokes were cool for about the first 10 times. Now they are just annoying spam.

Barr is a lazy do nothing fatfuck, we get it, enough with the stupid reused jokes we've all seen 10 MILLION times. It's gets fucking old. He's gone anyways.

If you're gonna do it ANYWAYS, at least make it funny AND original.

3

Trust the plan? I prefer results. Barr could have produced results but it's clear that he is either compromised or he has been threatened.

1
bluto36 1 point ago +1 / -0

not sure but lin wood has made several comments in the last few days about how Barr needed to be fired so not real sure about this or why the sudden change

0
Hobotron 0 points ago +1 / -1

KFC is much cheaper than attorney's fees. He saved a lot of taxpayer money.

-3
Mrs_Fonebone -3 points ago +8 / -11

LOL, you don't know that yet. Such impatience!

5
Drawdraw45 5 points ago +5 / -0

A lot of these people don't realize that there is a lot of movement that takes place out of the public view.

Barr was most likely DS, but he also could have been a patriot stealth bomber moving the right pieces into place.

Only time will tell

3
Tcrlaf1 3 points ago +3 / -0

Barr has personal and proffesional relationships with many of those going down. He can start the process, but he has conflicts for the prosecutions.

3
lurkwellmyfriends 3 points ago +3 / -0

This is a much better take than simply Trust Sessions. Trust Barr. Trust Rosen.

The DoJ has repeatedly worked against America, specifically during the Obama administration and shadow administration (four years of Trump). Maybe that changes now. Likely it won't.

I pray I am wrong.

2
GBA4ever 2 points ago +2 / -0

Greg Kelly had a montage of the commie Dems β€œreclaiming their time” when Barr testified. He’s a good person, an institutionalist, but probably doesn’t have the spine for the Revolution building up now. These are the times that try men’s souls....

TuNeCedeMalis 18 points ago +18 / -0

He doesn't. When barr stated no evidence of fraud, Lin was of the opinion barr was swamp. Literally the next day he second guessed himself. He's very back and forth on barr.

15
trueluk 15 points ago +16 / -1

He second guessed himself because someone explained to Lin that he was mistaken

8

1
TuNeCedeMalis 1 point ago +2 / -1

1
tombombadil 1 point ago +3 / -2

Trump would be my guess. Trump has great respect for Barr. It was not this way with Sessions.

1
tdwinner2020 1 point ago +1 / -0

Why did that need to be explained? We'd all know when he did something. He's done nothing. THAT'S YOUR FUCKING CLUE.

1
trueluk 1 point ago +1 / -0

Lin's negative opinion of Barr, which Lin tweeted, was due to the AP misquoting Barr. That's all.

2
QueenMAGA 2 points ago +2 / -0

I've seen President Trump question him too. They have way more info than us so we'll just have to wait til we get more.

22
Mrs_Fonebone 22 points ago +28 / -6

THere is wisdom in this. He was always hailed as an "Investigator" getting to the bottom of things rather than a prosecutor, and Durham is still special counsel, in a position even the president doesn't have the power to remove.

I hope a lot of people see this! To me it means, he has finished his job!

7
deleted 7 points ago +8 / -1
7
mintscape 7 points ago +7 / -0

in a position even the president doesn't have the power to remove.

Not true. Really surprised at how little people know about civics.

-2
Mrs_Fonebone -2 points ago +2 / -4

Oh, I didn't realize we were in school. So let me be thorough. Biden, as the highest possible target of an investigation, would not be able to remove the Special Counsel investigating him for DoJ. Special counsel status gives Durham authority in any State, not just in Delaware.

Do you ask for sources and footnotes for memes?

4
SomeGuyOnTheInternet 4 points ago +4 / -0

would not be able to remove the Special Counsel investigating him for DoJ

If Biden becomes President, he can do whatever he wants because the rule of law means nothing anymore. Who (in government) is going to stop him?

4
mintscape 4 points ago +4 / -0

The president can fire a special counsel. You are confused with an independent council which Durham is not.

2
tdwinner2020 2 points ago +2 / -0

There's no independent counsel law anymore either.

The only thing that protects a special counsel from firing by the President is the word "special", which is an incredibly special word you know. It's the fear of impeachment that keeps Presidents from firing special counsels. It's quite possible the RINOs and a few less RINOish Rs would have voted to convict Trump had he fired Mueller. But Biden? Hah, the dems always vote party line, so he'd be in the fucking clear. Also, the rule of law is over.

2
mintscape 2 points ago +2 / -0

They could try for an Obstruction of Justice charge for impeachment but as you say there is no risk for Biden as the Dems have the house still so certainly no impeachment. Biden will also fire Durham of course.

Biden will also pardon Hunter and the whole Biden family including himself.

2
lurkwellmyfriends 2 points ago +2 / -0

If Biden were to get in he could indeed fire Durham. The media would either cheer him on or simply not report it.

My thanks to Mr. Wood for his kind words. People who do not know what an AG's job is tend to have dramatic expectations that are doomed to be disappointed. Then they get mad, for no good reason. The "news" media is no help. They ignore the press releases and briefings from the DOJ, and their silence fools some people into thinking nothing is happening.

We'll know soon enough, but if Barr was a patriot, he'd have done something already. It looks to everyone like Barr was just a deep stater trying his best not to seem like one while doing his best to block POTUS. My money is on that. If anything my fear is that Barr did his utter best to prevent invocation of the EO and may have succeeded.

I agree 100 percent.

He was like chris Christi in 2011, but more genuine.
