There's roughly 75,000 people, soldiers and civilians, under the umbrella of the 82nd...it's freaking huge. Odds are they've never crossed paths in all honesty. 24 years in boots, multiple tours on Bragg, I just put no value on them both being in the 82nd. I hope that I'm wrong.
