Look, any political institution or idea that garners any significant support should be subject to scrutiny. But not behind closed doors and in secret, the public has a right to know what is being deliberated amongst matters concerning the public. If the briefings conclude its fake, the public should know. If the briefings conclude its real, the public should know. Theres matters of national security that must be confidential to protect sources and processes and then theres things that people keep confidential because they're politically afraid of it. The latter should never be a consideration, by regulation, for classification.
