"If the election result is contested in court, how will it be resulted?
The Election is determined according to the Electoral College system, including recounts and court challenges. If there is a court challenge to the result, this would have to be submitted to fit with the relevant dates above. We would pay on the final official ruling. "
I lost almost AUD$3500 on Bet365. These betting sites are a fucking joke.
At about 2pm (Australian time) on election day they were paying out my Trump bets almost double, that's how obvious it was that Trump was winning. By 3pm that same day those bets were worthless, because the cheat was in.
I emailed saying it was bullshit that they called it when it's obviously disputed and they pretty much told me to fuck off.
Not as much bet in my case, but if there's suing to be done, I'll be in.
Edit: Sportsbet terms: "Sportsbet settle the winner of the election as the winner of 270 electoral college votes at the 59th U.S. Presidential Election."
So if state electors get invalidated (or replaced with Republicans) prior to the counting on 6 Jan, there should be a case.
Hey I've got $5k riding on Trump, along with other special bets (electoral, senate etc) both with SportsBet and TAB.
Please keep me in the loop when Trump is inaugurated and we sue.
I’m finding it almost I impossible to find any useful info about TAB’s position
Here is what I've found - https://www.tab.com.au/sports-betting/election

Legend - thanks

Class action time when Trump is sworn in.
You'd better bloody believe I'm jumping on that train!
Ditto. (Sportsbet only)
