I have also read that 7 states sent 2 sets of electors?
I honestly missed the bus here and cannot follow the plot.
Nothing is official until January 6th. There are still hot cases around the country in court. States can still call back their electors and restore the true winner.
*And it would be a shame if a pre-Christmas surprise showed up tying Biden to a foreign entity for his "win".

In a nutshell, the game of shells has started with the electors. This is going to be pressed right up until the end with the maximum amount of hearing and debate targeted. It won’t be over until Jan 6 but could trickle all the way to Inauguration Day. Might need a boxing match to decide.
Relax. Today electoral college casted their votes. We also had alternate slate of electors cast their votes in contested states. This is done to keep legal challenges going so that once everything is uncovered congress nullify the fraudulent certification
There are still cases ongoing.
The GOP is sending electors because those cases mean the election is contested.
When it gets to the Senate, Pence is going to pick which electors count, then it's going to be debated.
Hopefully by that time, the cases will be resolved and only the Trump electors will have standing to remain.
All the two sets of electors mean, is we're still in the fight. It doesn't mean a guaranteed win, but it's a good sign.
They're lying propagandists. That whole "270" thing for today ONLY counts for NON-CONTESTED elections. They're just doing all this to convince people that Trump stole the election.

There are dueling electors. Basically the GOP is saying "Hey motherfuckers. There is some shady shit going on that you never cleared up". So it then goes to Congress. And possibly afterwards to Pence. But Congress will shoot it down because they are all establishment swamp rats.
IF the republican electors weren't sent, down the road when the tables were turned, it wouldn't matter if no rep. electors hadn't been sent. i undrerstand it almost as a registration of sorts, for them.
