Based on the Michigan forensic report, the votes were not changed by the machine itself but by a human adjudicator. The machines just rejected the votes and marked them for adjudication to be changed at will.

So just use the machines, and change the votes manually. Just be sure to delete the adjudication logs after like they did it Michigan to get rid of the evidence, and maybe update the machines too, while you're at it.
