Sort of but not. Their like a place holder at the moment. Say the legal challenges work , then he has the electors in the door to to be counted in january. But even if the legal challenges don't work if enough fraud is exposed then pence can choose to pick the Trump electors

I feel the same way about Texas vs the swing states.

Far as I know they go to pence if it's a contested election. 12th amendment. Pence can say the Dem votes in those states are illegal and cancel them and Trump wins

So... the Mainstream media is going to call them illegitimate, but they are legit. This happened back in the 1960s for Hawaii, when they couldn't determine who won and needed to do more recounts or something like that. All I know is that it only gets more fucky from here.

Well it is a big mess when two sets of electors are chosen. It has happened before, in 1876.

The short answer is that there is no 100% accepted agreement on what happens.

The next date is January 6. That is when the President of the Senate (Mike Pence) is supposed to count the electoral votes on the Senate floor.

I expect much will happen between now and Jan 6. And I'm not talking about piddly little lawsuits.

All we have to do is wait and see. I suggest not listening to anybody talking about 'paths to victory' at this point. What will happen is completely different.
