I hate to be this guy, but SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza viruses are not closely related. They are not in the same family. Influenza viruses are in the Orthomyxoviridae family and SARS coronaviruses are in the Coronaviridae family. And part of the reason why we haven't been able to come up with a common cold vaccine is because there are more than 200 viruses that cause the common cold.

Question: are there two or more versions of this "vaccine"? I'm reading the mRNA one is dangerous. Is there another one? And I still don't get why a "vaccine" is necessary for a virus with survival rate of 99%+. It sounds like I have a higher probability of getting pregnant while on birth control than dying from Covid-19 (assuming I was a woman).
