Yes it is true that if just 1 Senator and one Rep contest it it automatically goes to a vote but for it to TRULY be contested we need to overturn 3 or more certifications by January 6th OR have them contested in a vote. Unfortunately the amazing job that GOP state legislatures have done today does not make it an automatic win for us with Pence deciding which votes to certify.
I am by no means a doomer but I just want us to stay informed and not get complacent. WE NEED TO WIN SOME COURT CASES AND MAKE SURE THAT OUR SO CALLED REPUBLICAN CONTROLLED SENATE DOES THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE! I beleive this is still possible but there is still a lot to be done!

Well, on it's face it's tough. However, the debates are not about who won the electoral votes. The debates will technically be about if the certification of the votes was legal. If Trump team drops a n evidence bomb that is clearly undisputable, party lines will be broken and this will cease to be a political question. i know that's hard for some peeps to understand here, but with the exception of Maxwell, most reps and senators are solid people in their decision making. And they know, that the public knows the election was indisputably crooked, they will vote the right way.
Additionally, Trump says they have a card no one has considered and he has been tight lipped on what that is. So, at the very least, something novel will happen. My guess whatever it is will force recertifications in Trumps favor.
Bullshit house will see the light. You can tell them to kill their mothers or have Trump win again and they will their mom happily.
I will always prepare for the worst. If some see the light great. But I would rather think of all worst case scenarios to work on other paths.

I mean yes he can arrest his opponent and do the whole eo and insurgent act etc but Trump will now look like a dictator and never taken as legitimate. Yes the left will never accept a loss but I would rather have trump "re-win" in the most " non dictatorship legal way" possible than the military way. Both are legal especially if we determine Biden's are crooks and compromised. But you know what I mean. One legal way is much better in the history books than the other legal way.
