I see a lot of this Covid is fake BS. It's not fake, there are plenty of physicians I know who come on here and we see it day in and day out. It's Chinese disinformation campaign that's meant to paralyze our efforts.
Think it through. First censor reports that it's deadly, jail people who report on it and stop all news that its decimating Wuhan with people literally being burned cause they can't keep up with the deaths, but then have our government say you don't need to do anything using the WHO and CDC who people follow like sheep. Realize that the WHO is controlled by China and that they have been dragging their feet. Taiwan meanwhile bans all Chinese entry and are sent infected people on planes in a biological warfare attempt. Then by the time the "experts" realize China's been lying, and change their tune, everyone loses trust, the experts don't want to look stupid so they drag their feet. Trump is probably furious that they've lied to him and now he has to avoid causing a panic, then China introduce all sorts of disinformation to confuse and paralyze our national efforts. Meanwhile the virus has lost its edge and doesn't kill as many as in the original outbreak in Wuhan. Continue to pump in all sorts of information and people suddenly are coming up with the stupid theory that there was no COVID. Now China's laughing their ass off to stupid Americans who are letting them off the hook for destroying our economy with a LAB MADE BIOLOGICAL WEAPON.

Agreed. There are some trolls I suppose who are spreading the misinformation that "It doesn't exist" that it's a "Hoax". That was the target of this post. Unfortunately they may not be legitimate accounts. But It needs to be said nonetheless. Define the problem and find the best solution. Currently we do not have the best solutions. Most Asian countries didn't lockdown.
The PCR tests are garbage. The case numbers are all fraudulent. The footage from China was all staged. Flu was rebranded covid (thus its disappearing act). Every "covid death" reported is rewarded with thousands of tax dollars. If there ever even was a bioweapon, it mutated to impotence so quickly it had basically no effect. This was all designed to destroy our nation, and usher in global totalitarian government.
Thank you for taking a rational approach! I know several who got it too (and experienced symptoms). The last thing we want to do is go full crazy and start claiming it doesn't exist when it does, because it erodes our credibility.
The information war is waged this way. Take a truth, inject the false idea that you want into that truth, create false illogical story based on truth to shift the narrative farther and farther from the truth. China is great at this because they lie about everything. They said the virus came from Italy, the US, India etc. Their story changes every week.
You bring up a good point about the source of viral material used to develop tests. However the tests are not all made by 1 single company. Currently there are at many companies that have each developed their own tests and had to go through FDA. Viral samples used for each of these tests come from multiple sources. China is only one of them. Many of these tests are not very sensitive like you stated. This is because it's a man made virus that is very small. Hard to detect. The case severity can change as the virus mutates. Each time it infects and moves from host-to-host it can mutate. Low flu rates could be actually due to the shutdowns. Coronavirus is much more contagious than the flu. We do test for both the flu and covid.

At this point it does not seem to be headed in that direction. The media could have picked any year, and any event to highlight. Report the deaths to highlight every hour, until it seems dire. How about traffic deaths. How about heart disease. How about satanic sacrifices. Monitoring any death rate of a specific cause, among the entire population of the US hourly, all the numbers would seem huge to the public. That is what they want from you, be afraid. It exists. But bodies aren't pulling up in the streets, I'm not killing my neighbors as someone once accused me of, and this isn't the first pandemic we've had but it was the first one we've responded to like this, survival rates are amidst 100%, death rate is very low. Don't fearmomger.
Where I get lost is, what is a pandemic? At the start of this, I understood the CDC classified a pandemic as a .5% death rate. That would trigger the health officials to lock down an affected population. Well if the numbers work out for covid, this has not been a pandemic after week two. WTF.
It's not fearmongering to insist on truth. It exists. It may not be as deadly as what happened in China. Viruses mutate. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Truth matters.
