He wasn't a very religious man but he loved Christmas. He loved having fun and was a kid at heart. We didn't have the best relationship for a long time due to his alcoholism but we reconnected last year, and he passed in April. I've just started a family and he only met his grand-daughter once or twice. It makes me sad to know that she'll never really know him. I wish he was still around so we could have one last Christmas together. His favorite holiday movie was Die Hard, so I'll be playing that on Christmas Eve when he called me last year. You pedes really keep me going. Merry Christmas to you bunch, and to those that still have your parents, make the most of the time you have.

God promises to wipe away every tear. Make everything you do about your kids and family. Let your wife be right all the time. The rest will work out.
