A fool and his money are soon parted. Online gambling is an incredibly stupid thing for someone to do. Be glad if you learned your lesson and it only cost you 3k.
Stock market is also gambling if we apply your logic and I could have sold at a profit two weeks ago as the sentiment for fraud was high, but I chose to stay until the end.
That doesn't make it any less gambling. It's entirely zero sum in your world, minus hefty fees from your bookie or however you want to refer to it whether you won or lost. The stock market can be dangerously close to gambling, especially in things like options and for some people it might as well be a casino, the difference is with stocks you're actually buying a stake of whatever company you're investing in as well as any potential dividends you may be entitled to and unlike a casino where the house will always wins the US often subsidizes the stock market with very friendly policies and laws.

Thanks for the wisdom and the quote from Wall Street. I’ve worked on it for 26 years sport.
Again, I made over 3k there on 400.00 in 2016.
PredictIt isn't "gambling". It's sort of like a stock market where the price fluctuates based on recent development.
It is absolutely gambling. You own nothing and it's entirely zero sum, actually less minus their big cuts.
