But one thing more gay people should be willing to admit is how many of them suffered early childhood sexual abuse. As a Christian, homosexuality is another sin like adultery, theft, covetousness, etc. Some of these sins are more severe than others but how we treat them should all be the same. If you are homosexual and you reject that part of you and refuse to act on it, good for you, you have my utmost respect. This is comparable in my eye to someone who struggles with lust or addiction or any other sin and who refuses to give in to it. The worst thing about the Leftist narrative is they not only want you to embrace your sin, but they want you to be proud of it and they want to force everyone to accept and support your sin as well.
If you are a homosexual man or woman and you hate it, that's awesome -- you're in agreement with God and worthy of the utmost respect -- and as a Christian I can tell you there is a way to be free from it by repenting and turning to Jesus as Christians have done for their sins.
Our society is in the terrible situation it's in right now because people loved sin and hated good. With immorality so goes reason and our ability to understand right from wrong. We are now reaping the rewards of a country that has accepted and celebrated sin to a degree that at least half the population can't even tell right from wrong anymore, and honestly think persecuting and oppressing people who think differently from them is a good thing. It's sad to see.
