it is a real voting method originally from countries where everything is a plurality. it is kinda like an instant runoff.

Super cool thing i discovered called a search engine

https://www.rankedchoicevoting.org/history_rcv

You’re quite a pretentious cunt, huh? Apply it to sports, or how about your wages.

Just because someone gave it a name doesn’t change the fact that it’s cheating.

For election meddling. Obviously.

It’s written in the Michigan Democratic Party rules. Weighted race voting is how they run their voting systems. It weighs heavy precincts differently than more red precincts so that the areas with a higher population of Democrats have a larger voice in their voting of Democratic Party issues. That’s the case for it.

It should not be present on an electronic voting system used to count votes in an election.

A little adjustment here, add a few votes there, change the weighting over here, adjust for that there........

Yeah. Seems totally legit......../s

Their cover story is because Dominion can be used to manage voting based on land ownership. There have markets where land owners vote on some rule based on how much land they own - fractional voting.

3
slangin_paint 3 points ago +3 / -0

That still doesn't make sense. The candidates are weighted, not the individual votes.

IF IT IS NOT 1 to 1 ITS SIMPLY CHEATING

Alpha_Lemming 5 points ago +5 / -0

That's the details... where the devil is.

TrumpWonByAlot 5 points ago +5 / -0

They claim its for smaller elections like HOA decisions. Weighted by ratio of square footage of house owners

LastNameNull 4 points ago +4 / -0

This is the correct answer. I read this during the early stages of this shit show and why such a feature was even developed. This could easily be handled by a spreadsheet. Instead it is baked into the fucking nationwide election code base.

3
theorymeltfool1 3 points ago +3 / -0

It's only to cheat and to steal money from the taxpayers. Why THE FUCK would GA spend $100,000,000 on "Voting Systems" from Dominion?? Oh right, because they're using taxpayer money that can then be funneled back to the Democrat campaigns.

I'm glad Trump is exposing all of this, ONLY if it leads to actual change. Otherwise our country will be completely lost for generations.

To future-proof the product. So votes for/of minorities can weigh more than those of whites, for example.

Even if the feature is designed for legit reason, why did votes for a US presidential election end in fractions?

2
VolareVia 2 points ago +2 / -0

In the US elections, this should not be allowed. Obviously. The only legitimate use is in other countries where they use ballots where you rank order your first second and third choice for a given candidate.

Even still, not supposed to be used in the US, and even in countries where they have ranked choice voting, it's still susceptible to fraud.

Lordahdaring 2 points ago +2 / -0

The only possible reason for Electric Voting in the first place is cheating.

You could do Weighted voting with scantron type ballots.

2
Andthen 2 points ago +2 / -0

Because polls are weighted so the election has to reflect the polls

Link to the main doc where this comes from?

For women competitions with trannies?

misterLahey 1 point ago +2 / -1

Because ranked choice voting is actually a thing some places, mostly overseas, but also in a few towns in the US. So the company has that feature as an option to help them sell their product. It should have been turned off for the presidential vote tabulating. But clearly it wasn't, because it provided the perfect avenue to manipulate vote tallies.

3
fskfsk 3 points ago +3 / -0

How does ranked choice lead to fraction votes?

In ranked choice, the candidate with the least 1st place votes is eliminated, and their votes are redistributed to the 2nd place choice on those ballots. There are no fractional votes.

Anyone in America want only 0.7 of their vote to count?

1
T-Bear 1 point ago +1 / -0

Nope.

The Left is still throwing a big tantrum over the (distorted) 3/5 man thing of the Constitution....particularly when it meant they lost.

They have no qualms, though, of whittling the value of your personage through reducing the value of your vote similarly, if it means they get to win.

TaggartCiscontinenta 0 points ago +1 / -1

If they want to weight votes it should be based in the number of years served or persons employed or federal income taxes paid
