I hate GG with my whole heart due to his positions on brazilian politics (and his husband is a congressmen in the lefty-est party in Brazil) but I gotta say he gets it right on the issue of censorship and the whole Snowden deal.
It's quite frustrating to watch Socialists like Glenn still believe in his ideology, even though every time it is tried we see the same media blackouts that Communists do.

Like many problems with many people their own intentions are noble and kind but the sociopaths and psychopaths that seek power exploit the institutions that moral people create.
This happens in not just government but religion, education, law enforcement, etc.

I dont follow Brazilian politics much and I know hes really hard on Bolsanaro, but from the few things I've seen, hes at least criticized actual stuff he was guilty of. Im not really bothered by that, what Im more pissed about is his dindu nuffin over Lula, center of the biggest political fraud case in world history.
My pet theory is that he is separated enough from the US at the moment to have a vantage point and think it through objectively.
Maybe there are lots of people in MSM that also think that, but they cannot utter it out loud.
While in Brazil he is in the middle of it so objectivity is more difficult.
