I like that. One I use a lot for corporate media is "Kayfabe", it's an old pro-wrestling term that basically means "the act/the show". (So a famous good guy and a famous bad guy wouldn't go out to together in public out of concern for "kayfabe", or making sure the rivalry in the show is real.)
I think there's a lot of parallels between the exposure of pro-wrestling as choreographed and the modern media.

The problem we have in Wyoming is that we have no challenger that stood a chance in the primary, I have been ready to vote for someone else for years, but I couldn't even tell you who if anyone tried to primary her, and we have one of the longest tenured republicans in the house for our only seat there, so people see that as a power we should try to keep. That fake pride of having a big name be from your state has blinded us to their neocon evil.
