What purpose does the condemnation serve? Does it amount to anything?

Literally nothing. We are even voting on strongly worded letters now.

They should have threatened impeaching the Justices instead.

Probably totally meaningless. But you know what? This is one "strongly worded letter" that I am glad was done. The "Supreme Court" deserves to be formally excoriated by someone other than Trump.

Agreed.

Whether or not it will do anything, its a show of support for Trump in the public eye. We need as much of that as we can get.

The pen is mightier than the sword. Proven throughout human history over and over again.

Brute force doesn't change minds. Ideas do.

It only seems that way, because the ideas of the losing sides are obliterated.

Fat man and little boy changed some minds

Agreed. But, if you watch closely, that's all about to come crumbling down. POTUS has seen to it.

Like other said, Fat man and Little boy changed a lot of minds. Spears changed a lot of persians mind. Scimitars changed a lot of europeans minds. Gunpowder and horses changed a lot of natives around the world mind's.

It's ugly, but there may arrive the time in January where you either take action, or you lose forever, and you won't take your country back in your lifetime. But that's up to you.

I don't disagree, other than the idea that physical force changes minds. It does not.

It may weaken will, but it never changes minds.

Depends on the situation. Carthage was pretty thoroughly changed, and there have been plenty enough people and civilizations which have disappeared partly by melding with a conquering one which first ran over them with swords.

Best to use both.

I disagree with the comments- this is a big deal. A State saying they have no faith in the federal system is a huge step toward secession.

The people here demanding more than a strongly worded letter from Texas seem to miss the lawsuit that could have flipped this whole election if the SC had done their job. Texas has more than done their part to try and save the union before this escalates. Serious question: right now what else do you want them to do?

Split off a "Constitutional Union of America" made of Texas and all the states that joined the lawsuit. Put the capital in Texas. We won't have to put up with leftard crap any more.

Only if we can claim our manifest destiny and reclaim the communist infested lands, by forcefully expelling them.

Leave the Union and take me with them.

John Roberts's fear of riots is not an excuse for failing to adjudicate an actionable complaint between the states.

Another step towards reforming a constitutional union

Exactly.

I also second this They have shirked their duty. They need to be disciplined. How, I'm not shur but a censoring is needed.

Kudos to Texas. They are following in the footsteps of Bill Barr and the strongly worded letter. Let's just hope they don't follow him to KFC.
