Is anyone else suffering from information overload? Fog of war? Dominion, election fraud, scamdemic, great reset Chinese spies, honey traps, Ukraine, Hunter's laptop, and the new Hilary bribe just to name a few. Normally, just one of these would be the news headline for weeks. I worry that each new scandal lessons the impact of the others. I still feel strong but I worry battle fatigue will set in. Need advice from military Pedes.

Former MI. I am going to focus my advice more on the maintaining a healthy level of stress, and keeping your self as effective as possible. I also just miss leading/working with intel professionals. Many of the Pedes on here would be welcome in my shop at any time. There are some really intelligent people on this site.
Battle fatigue is real, even off the front lines. When SHTF and rounds start flying in the front, intel needs to be as combat ready (sometimes more) as infantry. There were many days that intel would work 24+ hrs straight with small 30min naps mixed in where you could. I think my record was just shy of 48 hrs, after that long without a continuous break (> 4hrs) I and any other human is essentially combat ineffecitve and a liability to the mission. If a bad decision is made in the intel room, people get killed. Remember three things:
you are more effective as an information warrior when you are well rested. Well rested does not mean sleep. Well rested includes mental and emotional well being. Take breaks from this site (and others!) and come back ready to fight. Once I was ranked high enough to take on a leadership role, I would sometimes have to force a couple guys to go to bed. I get it, you don't want to miss anything, you want to help all you can. But you are a detriment when you are mentally/emotionally exhausted or sleep deprived. I had to learn that lesson myself the hard way.
You will never have the FULL picture of any situation, don't try and find it. Dig and research and do your thing, but never strive for perfection. Bring the information here and get other eyes looking at your findings. Different eyes will always find things you are missing. Perfection should be a goal not an objective.
"Take a knee, drink water" anyone who is a vet has heard this phrase 1mil + times. Why take a knee and drink water? Not just for hydration. The concept is to reset and find center, softly refresh your mental and physical state and then continue mission. My ritual to reset in the civilian world is to rub a lucky coin I got while I was in. Find your "take a knee"
Kind of got away from your question, but I hope it helps. Make sure to take care of yourself.
