Surprised the church’s didn’t lack standing. They shouldn’t have sued before the pandemic

6-3....

3 liberal judge dissenters said they didn't agree because "the order in Colorado had already been withdrawn and there's no reason to think it would be put on again."

obviously they don't see the tyranny we are living under in states with Democrat governors. New Mexican Governor Grisham restricted grocery stores even more so that she can also restrict churches further. Breadlines because they are anti-Christian.

I'm glad SCOTUs is still ruling on these. Even after they retract them.
They do that tactically. But it ensures that it won't happen again.

Doesn't surprise me. Similar argument was used in an election ruling & pushed by some lefty rags as why SCOTUS was going to toss the Texas case

Good! The lefties are always saying "separation of church and state" until it doesn't work for their current argument. Stick it to 'em!

Edit: corrected spelling of a word.

Atheists get really mad when you tell them that "separation of church and state" was implemented not to protect the government from the influence of religion, but to protect religions from the government. Many of America's earliest settlers came to the New World because they were escaping persecution from the government over their religious beliefs.

Yep. It was meant to keep government out of the church, NOT the church out of the government.

The opposite is where we are and sadly look at the state of things.

The Bill of Rights is a list of things that that government is not allowed to do. I can't believe that some people are dumb enough to think that "separation of church and state" was included to stop city hall from putting a Nativity Display on their front lawn during the holiday season.

There is an argument to be made that separation of church and state also entails that the church isn’t literally in control of the state either. That being said, it’s preposterous that Christian imagery on government property or advocating for not murdering millions of babies is considered imposing religious views whereas the state can push transgenderism and even tell people how and when they can worship and that’s fine. Leftists don’t hate religion as such, they hate when you worship God and not the state.

But the POTUS doesn't have standing over a church for a court date?

Wow some Justices actually still believe in the Bill Of Rights. I guess Justices Roberts doesn't think the LEFT will burn down every liberal city like he did with the Texas Lawsuit.

Amazing that this even needs to be brought to court.

It's all about that standing man. That court should be disbanded
