It's more like trying to take a "straight victory" from the character and Pratt. That's how they see it.
They're also trying to get Mario and Luigi as a gay couple, and that "brothers" was just an excuse to live together. They don't care about the characters or the representation going forward, they want the narrative of who pioneered gaming to be not straight.
Thought about that also. Pratt is a professional. I think he would play the role but it will never get to that point. Marvel Entertainment is not going to play games with their money making properties.
I love how they try to bring this stuff up after the fact. In none of the movies does he show any interest in men. Thor comes up shirtless, and everyone's fawning over him, but Starlord. This reminds me so much of the Harry Potter, Dumbledore stuff which felt like a gay fanfic add-on.
As a life long comic reader, fan and collector, as far as I am concerned, when Thanos snapped his fingers at the end of the Infinity War, he ended it all for me.
They just ceased to exist.
Nothing they put out after that is legitimate, its all just more SJW pandering and propaganda. The movies started as pretty decent versions of the original material, and did not cater to social justice, but they have been headed toward that cliff at a steady pace, and have now jumped right off.
The one upside, they can never take the older comics away from me or change them, I own the in the form they were produced in, and no amount of screeching outrage can change them.
I've noticed in like every single new show, there is at least one or 2 gay characters and they throw in a gay love scene even if it adds nothing to the story which is case 99% of the time. They don't know how to tell a good story anymore.
They want representation but looking at numbers it appears they want over-representation which is 2 different things.
Meh, all the comic book movies are the same formula repeated over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over
I agree it was fun. I still wouldn't care if no other comic book movie ever got made. Would love to see independent directors make a comeback a la John Cassavetes or any criterion collection type director. Rather than this uncreative nonsense we've seen for the past 10 years or so
So forcing someone to be a a polyfag is punishment. Got it.

Lmao!!! The moment I saw this they 100% did it to get @ him cause they were always against him since he believes in god.
Bastards.
Chris could just threaten to quit for Hollyweird attempting to push this globohomo nonsense.

yeah remember the slippery slope argument. in this case slippery slope argument is right.
Chris should let a diversity hire have the role and make his own show with ninjas, dinos and robots.

Punishment bc he is a Christian? So if he quits, your new movie tanks. Shooting yourself in the foot?
