President-elect is a generally meaningless title anyway. Remember they wanted to Hatch-act Trump's "president-elect" cabinet for beginning discussions.
If Trump is going to do something, the country and its States are finally aggrieved when illegal seditious shit occurs. If that has finally occurred, let's recognize it and now the party starts.

As a news channel they are not there to fight evil, they are there to report the news. They still agree (in the personal opinion) the election was fraudulent, but as of right now the electoral vote does say Biden won. As soon as things change, so will their reporting.
Id rather them keep it real, than to just turn out narrative for one side. If CNN was reporting on fraud 24/7 right now, but at the same time called Biden president elect... I would be ok with it, as long as they were also trying to get the real news out.
