1876 Election was also blatant Dem fraud too. Republicans shouldnt have compromised with them back then, but at least they had the balls to not immediately surrender like they do now.
Questionable whether the ECA is enforceable since the constitution gives no authority for making laws about that.
But it doesn't outright contradict the constitution's procedure(what actually matters, but it is vague) as far as I know, so it is a reasonable interpretation.
The President of the Senate shall, in presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the certificates, and the votes shall then be counted.
It's likely to be found to be constitutional and enforceable. The reason? SCOTUS is actively involved in the process of resolving a 'dueling electors' scenario.
Media not even talking about this in the least. When Trump is PROVEN the lawful winner and we get Trump 2.0 this is when the media will really flip shit. I can't wait.
Do Trump’s legal cases have to win in court in order for the Trump electors to be selected? Fake news is saying it, but it sounds plausible. Anyone know?
not dooming but can we realistically expect a majority of either house or senate to choose instead the gop slate of electors that pence indicates in any instance at this point, and if not where is our path forward?
The text of the ECA states 'certifications AND documents purporting to be certifications'. If I managed to smuggle in a piece of paper that simply said 'Jerry Nadler shat himself on live TV', Pence is legally required by the ECA to read that statement and file it in with the other EC vote documents.
The state legislature appointed the Trump electors. The state legislature retains the right to appoint the electors. Therefore Trump won in an electoral land slide.
It was certainly misleading. Miller got it right with his explanation, but a lot people posted thinking they had just one and that is far from being the case.

WE HAVE TO SHOW MASSIVE FRAUD.... AND FAST.... AND TO THE ENTIRE NATION.
AND THE DNC CORRUPT JUDGES - AND CORRUPT POLITICIANS ARE BLOCKING THAT...
AND THE MSM HAS 'ZERO INTEREST' IN PRESENTING THE MASSIVE FRAUD.
THIS IS A TOUGH ROW TO HOE!
Boom

I was under the impression 7 state legislatures had done exactly that.

They have till Jan 6th to certify the alternative slates. We are still working through audits and lawsuits. Relax.
