Your leaving out the fact that New York and California are a majority of republican with only a few cities with high density populations that control the state. Im in NY and Trump won our county by a decent margin.
For the Illinois front, a good goal would be to push forward to the Fox and Kankakee Rivers and put Chicago under siege. Rivers are naturally defensible boundaries, and we’d take enough of Illinois that Chicago would be unable to feed itself
My thoughts are that we could easily take the entire Midwest save for Chicago-Milwaukee-Madison and Detroit. There are a lot of pro Trump people in rural Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Why leave them stuck behind enemy lines?
