if this was a lawful wager in the United States, a private company can't just arbitrarily change the terms after they take your money.

if the wager was on president of the US, they cant pay based on projected winner.

They're doing this because they can't fund it if trump wins.

If you're passing money around underground, well, those are the people you deal with.

From the looks of the date, seems like you're betting eastern european monies, so I suppose that's a lesson on fucking around with people like that.

It was in Ireland, but it feels like they're just making up the rules as they go along. Fair enough if he loses honestly, but to say they'll refuse to honour the bet if unfolding events change the result is crazy. If they change the result, then surely I win the bet!
