at least 30 seconds. I actually only ever prayed this much for one thing. It was to get my brother and I out from our abusive mother who was winning in court alot even tho she was abusive. She stole she lied and in the end.....she lost her kids and the fat paycheck.
Just saying. God is all powerful.

I've experienced spiritual abuse in multiple Protestant organizations. Abusers can make their way into anything. With churches and religious organizations, the abuse often destroys peoples faith. It is heartbreaking to see sincere, good-natured people taken advantage of and deeply wounded. I have felt God providing for me during and after my experiences.
When the organizations refuse to properly punish the abusers (and gaslight the abused) is when things go from bad to truly awful. I see the same things happening in politics with all of the fraud and it looks like almost no one is facing judgement for their crimes. That causes outrage from everyone with a sense of right and wrong.

I’m really sorry to hear that man. It’s a shame what Catholicism has become, because it really is the most beautiful of all the Christian faiths.
