Or at least how do they know when to update the machines and if it weren't connected to the internet how would they do this? It's frustrating to listen to these representatives not ask basic technology questions!

I’ll one up your question. If they’re not connected to the internet, how are they providing real-time election night data to Clarity/Scytl?
I thought they have cell phone modems in them, so they're connected to the Internet even if the operator doesn't do it?
