Many on here don't seem to understand influence. You don't change a person's mind by bashing him in the face with a fact that would require he admit he is wrong and ultimately ignorant of the matter. You ask him questions and through the process of answering those questions he either comes to conclusions on his own or the seed of curiosity is planted and he will then go and do further research himself. In this way that idea is his own and he can take ownership of and pride in that idea. That is how you enlighten people and change their minds. So ask them questions like: What do you think of China? Do you think China is a threat? Do you think China played a part in this election? Did you hear that senators x, y, and z have been receiving kickbacks from officials in the chinese party? Let them do the thinking, talking, and discovery. Stop trying to force people into your way of thinking. It does not and has never worked!

This is bigger than Trump now. This is a game of chess in which we must come together and reject chinese influence without also rattling sabers and starting a war. I've seen chinese vessels in person. They are armed to the teeth. They have come a long way militarily. WE DO NOT WANT WAR WITH CHINA. We will likely win, but the world will lose and nothing will change. Or do you believe billionaires and their children will be serving on the front lines? No, our best bet is to oust chinese influence from our politics through the will of the people. But we need cohesion to do that. How do we achieve cohesion if both sides do nothing but bash heads and quote statistics?

But also think beyond the present and past your anger. What do you think will happen if we continue to clash with China? How much larger is their population than that of the United States? How much more manpower can they put toward their defense and industry if pushed? And do you know any chinese people? I do. They aren't all evil. Many of them hate and fear their government and do not want to live under a system of communism. Just look at Hong Kong. Would you not welcome those people into our society?

We have been isolated and forced to communicate through the most ineffective means possible, the Internet. Stop losing friends and pushing people away for shit that was said on Facebook and start looking for ways to build bridges with and influence the people you have been cutting out of your lives. Many of you think of yourselves as hero's for clashing with your friends and neighbors, but is it more difficult to say "fuck you" and punch someone in the face, or control your anger and stay civil? And which will benefit you more in the long run?

But here's the thing... The personality is that of a child. You know when you see that new age mom telling an infant "don't do that that's bad? Do you understand why that's bad?"Or asking a child that can barely speak "why did you do that? Answer me"

You're dealing with hysterics not sensible people

As I said, changing hearts and minds is not an easy task by any means. It has to be done slowly and subtly, the same way that the people we are trying to convince had the ideas they now defend imprinted in the first place.

But that is the difference between the two sides. Conservatives are direct and predictable. Liberals are elusive and machiavellian. We are also dealing with the population of a nation that has been in multiple wars over the last few decades. The last way to win them over is aggressiveness. Most of them are afraid and clever exploitation of that fear is what keeps them in check. Aggressive, direct exploitation or confrontation will make them hate you.

I've spent years of my life trying to build bridges between the two factions in the way you described, and I'm pretty burned out now.

Earlier this year I spent three weeks online and later on the phone trying to redpill a Leftist former friend of mine. In the end he actually resorted to defending slavery in order to maintain his viewpoint.

Maybe the tact I used to have when I was younger is gone now. Your points about Chinese citizens are good ones. Everyone is an individual and most people on Earth want to become Americans - unless they're Progressives.

We really have a worldwide war between Global Communists and National Individualists on our hands. I won't give up hope that I can wake up low-information people but they're so resistant to new information.

Good points and understand where you are coming from. Actually wrote this after doing a lot of thinking as to what to do about a long time friend who has helped me a great deal in my life, is successful, and very intelligent, yet voted Biden and believes there wasn't fraud. Why? Because that is what the news said and he identifies as a democrat. He is a victim of the system, not a bad person. There is always hope for people like that, and even if I cannot change his mind it is not worth losing that friendship.

You seem to be one of the good ones capable of empathy and changing hearts and minds. Keep up the good work. War is the last thing we want or need.

Tact is what got us into this situation in the first place. Every time we were cheated out of an election we said oh for the good of the country I'll concede. That made us look weak to the dems. They all thought well, if they won't fight we'll keep stealing and move the country towards communism.

Tl:Dr. "WE DON'T WANT WAR WITH CHINA" Have you paid attention to the rules before you started typing out a long and pointless essay? One of the rules says that you represent the movement against communism, globalism, and progressive insanity.

You are a panicking cuck if all of what you said isn't sarcasm.

Did you actually think about any of what I wrote, or did you just go straight to offended? Responses like yours are what cause division and make it harder to convince others of what is going on.

Fuck tact, you don't win wars with tact. You become a savage.

Courage is commendable, but it alone cannot win a war. "The 48 Laws of Power" is a very good book that demonstrates a lot of the skills and tactics we will need to win. It's basically "The Art of War" for the 21st century. But "The Art of War" is also invaluable.
