I wondered why 1984 was required reading in a liberal-run public school system but now it makes sense. It's that so the teachers can lie about what the book is actually about.
Yea, I can understand how someone like them will think V for Vendetta is more about evil conservatism than tyranny and fascism, even though it's not, but Nineteen Eighty-Four? INGSOC? Definitely not "about our side".
TBF though, his argument looks like it mostly revolved around spamming that "are we the baddies?" gif that is the crux of their arguments besides "they just want to own the libs" or a gif of Rihanna eating a salad.
