If POTUS is forced to use the insurrection act or martial law or the 2018 EO or anything like that, McConnell and the swamprat RINOs will have the one thing that they've been wanting over Trump since 2015. LEVERAGE.

McConnell will be able to call a special counsel investigation, impeachment, everything in the book and, whether we like it or not, it will all have much substance than Russiahoax. POTUS already went through this bullshit his entire 1st term, the last thing he wants is to be reelected only to slog through an even more stymied version of his 1st term. Turncoat Mitch can threaten Trump with this bullshit any time he wants something. Pointless wars for his military buddies, lax immigration laws for his construction and agriculture friends, removal of tariffs for his pals in the auto industry, the works.

This DOES NOT mean you should kick your feet up and tRuSt ThE pLaN. No, stay angry. Grease your rifles and keep an address book of traitors. But also understand why Trump is being so slow to use the weapons he has available.
