Posed by CNBC moderator Carl Quintanilla at the start of Wednesday night's Republican debate, it was something the Republican presidential candidates had to field just like the rest of us -- but they were advised against stock interview responses like "I'm a perfectionist." Here's how they answered.
Donald Trump: "I trust people too much," *the Donald answered with his usual conviction. "And when they let me down, if they let me down, I never forgive. I find it very, very hard to forgive people that deceived me."

My wife said "Let Up"
He really needed to put all die hard radical supporters of his in cabinet positions from day 1 instead of trying to play their game in their field. Even if he had to cycle through them in acting positions if the Senate wouldn't accept them.
He put on the Armor of God and walked straight into Hell with the Sword of Truth. God Bless Him.
Oh, he knows..... https://youtu.be/55MpkpwcjSI
This one's better from, ironically, AP https://youtu.be/rF5o0UJbG74
Yes. He should've been breaking all the rules when they started obstructing him. The use of cycling temps should've been considered so he could keep loyal people in those positions to execute his plans. But he never did that until recently with the DOD. They cut Bannon and Flynn loose early and those two were ideal allies. But instead they were worried about optics and playing by the rules. You know Bannon wanted to start gutting the federal agencies from the inside out. He questioned everything and was creating dissension among the ranks. So he was given the boot.
Cost vs benefit, can't just crash the system all at once. He's our voice, albeit blunt!

I've commented on here before why he had to make these careful moves along the way. He tried to work with everyone early on and because he was a civilian with NO government background, he had to come in there with a blank slate and trust people who were already keyed into the system. But over time, I think he needed to start stepping up his game. He had massive support from us, a 94%+ approval among R voters. Early this year would've been nice to really start planting more loyal allies but here we are now.
Yall talk a lot about "The Art of the Deal" here, o haven't read that one but should. I have read "Think Big and Kick Ass" it gave insite onto him ad a person. From it eludes to him being backstabbed many times by people he trusts. Im sure DC is more backstabby than NY business. I hope he learns much from this and his 2nd term will be much better.
And who gave him the people in the senate?
...
Easy to say, harder to do when you need political alliances to get anything done.
He needed to call on his support base to force politicians into submission more.
Mr. President, you have millions of people right now who trust you and you can trust us, to follow you to death. Just say the word and we will be there for you.
I love this guy!!!
Why should you forgive people who fuck with you ?!?
I'm in that boat, have been too long, lost family and friends. Its a hard path but if you know your right and everyone around is lying, keep your head up, and continue to be yourself.
nothing worse than a Judas traitor - the unforgivable sin
Trump what the fuck are you actively DOING about McConnell's betrayal?
“When somebody screws with you, screw them back in spades” -Donald J Trump Or bullets. Or prison. Or pitchforks. I don’t think we’re too picky here....
