CBP Anon here. While this could be part of something bigger, it's pretty standard that some people in the gov keep working national security ops on all holidays.

The question is where will everybody else be? At home? With their families? Man, sounds like it would make it a lot easier to track them down if they were at home. I suppose that would make executing arrest warrants a hell of a lot easier.
