I have always believed that RINOs and never trumpers were really “placeholders” for the Democrats. Label yourself as a GOP but hold the line for democrat votes/policies. That makes people on the right feel that they have representatives on the right, but people who never uphold conservative values. How better for the left to infiltrate the GOP with wolves in sheep’s clothing to make it appear the GOP is represented. I remember seeing the conservative review website who graded GOP members of Congress as to how they voted conservative.
