and the US Republican Congress put a shit bill in front of President Trump without a repeal of section 230 and a benefit added in to the Chinese military.
Please report me directly about this. I am communicating this directly with a Dutch political party in our house of representatives! I already informed them last week that this could happen (I am an ICT expert). This is breaking point for me, I am going to make noise in the Netherlands about this. The media here is also censoring the steal. Thank you!
I mean are we surprised. The whole phone is made in China, and this is one of the biggest movements against them.
But we definitely need to go test this, maybe it's only between certain phone carriers?
Self hosting Nextcloud and using Nextcloud Talk could be an option, but that is kinda reserved for the technically inclined and those with access to a Rapsberry Pi and/or another always-on computer
Wife and I are both on Android using the Pulse SMS open source messaging app. A direct hypertext link and a typed-out version went through to her just fine.
For sake of argument I switched over to the default SMS messaging app and tried sending the link to my wife again (so me on default SMS app, her receiving with Pulse.) She was still able to receive it, though it wouldn't do the link preview prefetch thing.
EDIT - From Pulse back to me on default SMS, she was able to send it to me as well. Still no link prefetch.
It's apple. I made a post a few weeks back about how every time I tried to send links they don't like iphone users won't get it. My android friends still get them. Don't get me wrong Google has done a number but I've only seen iphone users have texts blocked.
Alert: Google is a Scumbag.

T-Mobile has been blacklisting a lot of random URLs lately. My friends have tried to find a pattern with no luck.
MetroPCS, a TMobile subsidiary, allows it. Using Android/Pulse Open SMS.
It's been this way for a while I think. I noticed like a month ago. Tbh, I thought it was Google Messages that was censoring it.
I think it's T-mobile, the wokest provider of them all.
Can’t send links on apple devices either.
I had been able to as recently as yesterday... lemme try now.
T mobile is the same. I can’t send links to my friend who uses their service.
No issues on a Galaxy Note running LineageOS.
Try entering the donald via duckduck go search. Then share via text from page
trying it now, waiting on a response from two test text messages.

Don't know if this helps at all.
We're on MetroPCS, which is owned by TMobile.
