Source: College student working as a cashier. This trashy couple (who I guarantee are democrats) came in and bought those two things, bunch of high end expensive foods plus a cart full of junk food all on food stamps/EBT. IMO food stamps should only cover fruits and vegetables, bread, 80-20 ground beef, value brand chicken, and other simple staple items.

Hard workers over here having to live on Cheezy Triangles and Big K Cola, while the welfare state living on prime rib and lobster.
I used to work at a place that made cakes and the system had it where you could put a deposit down on the cake and use EBT, but when you came back to get it when it was finished the EBT wouldn’t cover it b/c it counted as “hot” food since it was completely prepared. We had so many cakes left in the break rooms for us from people not willing to pay the rest of the 15 bucks cash and just leave the cake.
