I’m a teacher. This sounds great, but there are a ton of parents who just found out they have to find last minute childcare or they will miss work. It’s why schools can’t shut down for covid again. We have an outbreak at an elementary school right now and they only told one grade level to stay home. Parents need the coverage because our country can’t afford to pay one breadwinner enough to support the whole family anymore.

They have had off how long too ? They can still afford a Free snowday though, my state legally requires a certain number of days in school.
