Yeah, I share your opinion. I have this idea that many people alive today, and especially people like us who are in this forum, have attention deficits. Explains a lot about modern society. Perhaps I'm just basing this off myself, but I think that's why TDW can get crazy sometimes. At least for me, I'm aware of my attention deficit, so I just shift my focus on the world around me and take time to do chores, read my history book or Bible, play a video game, take care of assignments from my job, etc.
I'm more worried about the brick-shitting that will occur if nothing happens directly on the 18th. And it may not. The 18th is surely an important date, but the important things that happen on that date may not be visible to the rest of us until later.
