I'm pretty sure that Obama did an E.O that made it so if any one died in the Dod, got locked up or couldn't do there job there is a line of succession that automatically came into play. The person under the position would fill it and the person below them fills theirs ect. . Kind of saying there is a line of people and it has to go in order.
Trump's E.0. says fuck your line and only Him or the people he personally put in those positions have a right to choose the replacement.
I believe he is planning on purging the dod and doesn't want compromised people automatically gaining more power when he starts locking heads up 🤣😂😂🤣
Didn't read, but I looked at 'order of succession'. As far as I can tell, that means people lined up for the position must be chosen for their position. Kind of like how the presidency passes to the Vice President if the President dies.
