Stopped trusting them years ago. When they pumped me full of psychiatric meds a nd took me down a horrific rabbit hole. All the while telling me how safe they were...30 years later I'm paying the price. Pill pushing politics and Big Pharma! Screw the people.
I have a friend that I have known for years and late in HS school they were "diagnosed" whit ADHD or similar and put on some meds. They went from a relatively normal happy person who enjoyed hanging out with frields and outdoor activities to very quiet, never wanting to activities they once loved, stayed home almost all the time, etc.
I knew something was wrong and tried to stay in contact with them. Sever years later they admitted that while on the drugs, they became very depressed and had some suicidal thoughts. They said eventually it was myself and a few close frends who kept pestering them to go out hiking, and finally going, one spring after a long winter inside on the drugs that kept them from committing suicide and stop taking the drugs.
Brain drugs IMO are the scariest shit out there. I don’t believe for one second they know nearly half how the brain works or for that matter how to correct it.
