For a couple of reasons:
-
Work. I work at Walmart. They may enforce it? Can they do this? I wouldn't be surprised if most jobs enforce it.
-
Travel. I remember reading airlines may enforce it. While that sucks, I want to travel outside the US and if all I have to do is take a needle prick then so be it.
I'm not worried about the side effects, though I'm not denying there may be some. I'm not bothered by people not wanting to take it. It shouldn't be enforced on everyone.
I'm also not concerned about my salvation. Its not the dammed "mark of the beast" so that idea i do disagree with.
Definitely your right to take it. If they try to force it to travel, I think people might actually truly rebel though. It's not smallpox or something I would have trouble fighting off myself.
The vaccine has a 95% theoretical success rate... but my immune system for my age and health has a 99.997% success rate. Why should I be forced to pump myself with an untested vaccine if my own body is literally better than the medicine?
At the end of the day, covid is a flu variant that has caused no marked increase in deaths in the USA according to the CDC. I should not have to take it to get on a damn plane considering we clearly don't need to now.
