I was about to buy a house. Had the bank ready to go. But then in March, they said, "We're not loaning to self-employed people anymore if they lost work to coof." Then almost ALL my work started evaporating, week after week after week.
And through it all, I was told I was "nonessential." Like I could just stay home and not work, it's totally fine. Doctors and ESPECIALLY nurses are the only people worth anything, so if you're not "essential," then it's forced poverty and permanent muzzling for you. We'll make people so afraid of each other, that you'll never be able to work again!
A lot of people have a lot to answer for this year, but at the very top of the list should be Fauci, Birx, Cuomo, Diblasio, and every communist governor in the country. I think Minecraft is a cool game and lots and lots of people should play it really soon.
Not terrible, I guess. I mean, it's one thing to lose a year's worth of work. But now, with how the local government has behaved (NY and CT), I have to seriously consider leaving the career I worked long and hard to establish, and start again in Florida. So I went from being inches away from attaining pretty much all my present goals, to probably becoming a political refugee.
But I shouldn't reeeeee so much. I know guys that are in the same businesses that didn't have anything saved, now they're streaming themselves playing Among Us asking for tips to pay rent.
