Why in the hell wouldn't I want to show ID to vote? It protects my vote and my vote CAN affect EVERYTHING!

Requiring ID disenfranchises young alcoholics.
We literally did that in NC. Passed overwhelmingly by people’s vote then still didn’t pass and has been held up in courts for years. Absolute BS, if the people vote for it then it should happen.
Also a shit ton of legit third world countries including India require voter ID. We have absolutely 0 excuse.

I have to show ID and have a background check to purchase a firearm. I believe an illegally cast vote is more damaging to human life and society than my firearms.
I have a dream that one day everyone in the country is legitimate, and just asking for a name is good enough because everyone is willingly honest. (but in the meantime..I suppose you are right)
