A person would be well advised to research and understand why the Supreme Court rules as they do. I haven't seen anything done incorrectly as of yet. The ruling against Texas was correct, and their response provided parameters for future cases so they could be heard. Ruling for Texas in the way it was originally filed would have opened up a pandora's box. They want to hear the case and be able to rule on it (or a case similar), but being the Supreme Court, they won't rule and set dangerous precedents that will have negative ramifications.
