My climbing gym made us wear it until we got through the reception area, no enforcement in the big open part with 55 foot climbs. I held it over my face until I walked through the door, but they changed it last time, masks worn at all times even when climbing. It goes beyond the Emergency Order which states they don't have to be worn while actively engaged in a sport (2020 Olympics added climbing, argue it isn't a sport, gym owner!). I walked out. I haven't been back. I am torn between wearing a cheesecloth mask so I can breathe while I climb and communicate with my belayer (to avoid falling to my death, you know?) Or canceling my membership until they change it back. Liberal cucks who frequent the place love it even in my red state.
BTW studies show the virus can't live in our climbing chalk after a minute (maybe even less!). It is all bullshit. I may argue that they don't sanitize the holds AND ROPES between every climb.
I haven’t worn the mask once. I will never wear the mask. Any attempts to force the mask on me will be met with violence.
