Feel free. I’ve tried a lot of stuff and Boron moved the ticker the most. Balance is the real key though. My bloodtest from the doctor showed I was borderline hypercalcemic.
One of the parathyroid’s functions is proper distribution of calcium in the body, and Boron is a vital mineral for that function.
My focus is better in that I can find the right word or phrase to say a little quicker in conversation.
“Only Rosie O’Donnel” - “Cuz you’d be in jail”
I stopped taking it for 2 weeks recently because I got COVID (big whoop), and didn’t know how Boron would interact with the Quercitin I was temporaily taking.
I didn’t fully realize its effects until I started taking it again a few days ago. It’s subtle but I honestly cannot shut up for the life of me about a topic when I’ve taken my Boron. I find myself getting into my family’s personal space while ranting and raving about election updates. They agree with me, it’s just it’s given me energy like an attack dog. I couldn’t doom if I tried.
Funny side note - unless you’re a menstruating girl, stay away from Iron. Two summers ago I thought I was low energy from low Iron, but nope. It made me constipated for a week and I had to donate blood to get it out of my system. Sea salt cured the constipation. Iodine is also good for that but it can fuck your thyroid up if you’re not exact so I stopped messing with it. Mucuna pruriens is also playing with fire. Maca and Ashwagandha helped rebalance me there. I’ve experimented with a ton of things.
I was already taking Zinc/Mag/Brazil Nuts for a long time before trying Boron this autumn. Zinc for the first few weeks if you’re deficient is hugely noticeable. I also like 2 boiled eggs at night for hormone production while sleeping. Cod Liver Oil + Butter Extract capsules at night too for hormone production (Tim Ferriss protocol, look that up) but not essential to Boron. I also suggest taking Vitamin C or orange/cranberry juice in the morning. Peppermint or Green Tea at night is also kind of a ritual. No caffeine. Also I don’t drink coffee, I don’t need it. I think this long ass post is proof of that.
I cut down from 9mg Boron (1 capsule each meal) to 3mg (single capsule) when I noticed it was making me feel bloated, likely because I was no longer deficient. Boron stores itself pretty well in the body so you need to know when to back off for a while. Also your piss might smell in the beginning because that’s the Fluoride and Mercury being pushed out by the Boron. No one talks about Boron and it’s a shame. It would kill the fraudulent energy drink industry.
EDIT: I forgot to add that you should compare and contrast your fingernails before and after Boron. Mine got harder and less bendable.
There are other things I like every now and then like Ashwagandha. But I only listed things essential to Boron. You also need Copper to be balanced but you’re probably okay on that just from the pipes for your drinking water, unless you have a filter. I’ll probably end up getting a filter because studies show that pipe-copper could increase chance of Alzheimers. Fluoride is also in the water, so no good. I also use Tom’s fluoride-free toothpaste and my teeth are strong. I hope I didn’t information overload. Your doctor won’t tell you shit himself, but you could still get a bloodtest to see for yourself what you might need.
Ultimately these are the ones I take pretty consistently. You’d be wise to add one at a time for a week or so to see how each affects you. All at once obfuscates the individual effects:
ZMA (three in one zinc, magnesium, B6... before bed)
2-4 Brazil Nuts (selenium)
Boron (I added this last and most recently - turned out to be a big piece to the puzzle)
Vitamin B (at least B2/B3... I also take a sublingual B12 in morning)
Vitamin D3/K2 (two in one pill in morning, D3 causes hypercalcemia like I had without K2 mk4)
Vitamin C (I take a time-release capsule every other day in morning - you don’t want to overload your kidneys)
